What does Tungsten mean?


Tungsten was discovered in the Swedish province of Dalecarlia. The first person who mentioned the mineral was Axel Frederik Cronstedt. The name of “tungsten” came from the two Swedish words “tung,” which means heavy and “sten,” which means stone. As hard and rare metal, tungsten is found naturally on Earth only in chemical compounds. In 1783, it was first isolated as a metal and its important ores include scheelite and wolframite.

Do you offer an engraving service?

All alternative wedding bands in my store are personalized and come with custom laser engraving. It is Free of cost and comes with your purchase. You can choose any meaningful phrase, a significant date, initials, love quotes, or foreign language phrases to be engraved inside or outside of the ring. You can choose as many characters as you want. It is suggested to choose up to 35 characters, since longer the text smaller the letters, and it is hard to read.



Do you accept custom requests?

I accept custom requests. You can send me an image, logo, fingerprints, heart rate to be engraved outside of the ring. I will start working on your order. Once it is ready I will send you an image of my work to you for your approval before making an engraving, and shipping it to you. The price of custom orders depends on the difficulty of the work.



Should the engraving fade away with time?

No, the engraving will not fade away. I use the highest quality modern laser technologies that do not leave any slightest error, making the engraving look flawless.



Can I return a personalized ring?

All handmade, personalized, and custom made products are not returnable, since they were made especially for a customer, and it will be impossible to change it without the damage to the design of the ring or resell it in the future, even if it is in perfect condition. Therefore, the custom made items cannot be returned for refunds. If you have ordered the wrong size and would like to make an exchange to contact the store. An additional restocking fee may apply.



Can I try on the ring to see if it fits me well before I decide to purchase it from you?

If you are not sure regarding your ring size, I can send you the ring, you will try it on, If the ring fits you well you will send it back to me for the engraving. If the ring does not fit you well, you will send it back to me for the exchange of the size and the engraving. In case if the ring fits you well, but you do not like it for any reason, you can send it back to me for a refund.



How do I order my correct ring size?

Alternative wedding bands are not resizable, thus it is important to get your correct ring size before you place an order. It is recommended to get sized at two local reputable jewelry stores.


What is the comfort fit size?

Tungsten wedding bands are comfort fit. They normally run a half size bigger from your normal ring size. It is recommended to get a ring half size smaller than standard ring size. For instance, if your standard ring size is 13, your comfort fit ring will be 12.5. Not all comfort fit rings run half size smaller. It depends on the width of the ring, for instance, if the ring is in 6 mm and 8 mm width, it is recommended to choose a half size smaller from your standard ring size. If the ring is in 10 mm and 12 mm width then it is recommended to choose the standard ring size. It is suggested to get sized for comfort fit ring size before placing an order.


Do you have a merchant warranty?

All bands in my store come with a merchant warranty that applies to defects and imperfections in the design of the ring. Such defects should be noticed upon receival of the package, communicated to the seller within 2 - 3 days, and return the package along with the tracking information within a week. Merchant warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, such as minor scratches.



How to take care of my tungsten ring and to avoid any possible damage?

Avoid dropping or striking your ring by a heavy object
Tungsten rings are song, durable, scratch-resistant, but not scratch proof. Thus, it can get damaged if hit by a heavy object, or dropped to a floor. Your ring can give you many years of satisfaction, or can get damaged within a few days or weeks depending on the maintenance it receives on a daily basis. Always treat your ring with care. In order to avoid any possible damage to your ring, please remove it anytime you go to the gym, exercise with dumbbells, or work with heavy objects such as a hammer.



Limit the contact with Chemicals

Although tungsten is relatively a strong metal, it reacts poorly to harsh cleaning products, such as bleach, chlorine, and ammonia. The contact with such chemicals may blemish the surface of the ring. Thus avoid wearing it while you are going to the swimming pool, or using one of these products. If your tungsten ring came int contact with one of these chemicals, you should immediately rinse it in warm water with soap. Then, rinse it with tap water one more time, and put it on the towel to air dry.

Avoid the use of ultrasonic jewelry cleaners
Do not use ultrasonic jewelry cleaners, because they can cause microscopic fractures in your ring.
Store your tungsten ring separately by placing it inside its own jewelry box.



How to take care of Inlay rings?


The greatest determining factor in the ring's lifespan is the care it receives on a regular basis. There are special maintenance tips to make your Inlay ring last longer, and bring you many years of great satisfaction. Rings Paradise bands are made of wood, carbon fiber gemstone, antler, and meteorite inlays. Each type of Inlay needs special treatment. Removal of the ring at the right time in particular circumstances will avoid any unwanted scratches and breakage.
It pertains to all types of rings including ones made from durable, and scratch-resistant materials. Thus, it is always recommended to remove your ring when you are involved in sports activities, going to a swimming pool, lifting heavy objects, making repairs, or yard work, because even rings made from strong metals can get damaged from involvement in such activities.
Avoid exposure to antibacterial soaps, cleaners, sэprays, perfumes or harsh substances such as alcohol isopropyl, hair products, sunscreen as it may lead to staining or damage to the surface of the ring.


Wood Inlay

Wood Inlay ring is easy to maintain. Wipe down the surface of your ring daily to avoid dust. Wood Inlay ring can get damaged to long exposure to water and chemicals. To make sure that your Wood Inlay ring always looks its best to avoid moisture, by removing it when swimming, showering, or cleaning.


Carbon fiber Inlay

Carbon fiber is a very strong material made from the combination of several thin fibers that are bonded together. Carbon Inlay Rings come with a polished finish, and damage resistance. It has a glossy and deep epoxy finish that protects the material leaving a brilliant shine on its surface. The maintenance of Carbon fiber is easy. Clean it with water using non-abrasive soaps.


Gemstone Inlay

Remove Gemstone Inlay ring when engaging in heavy activities, sports or yard work. Avoid exposure to water, since it may weaken delicate inlay work. Remove it at the time when you are swimming, showering, or cleaning. Soaps, detergents, chlorine, cleaning solutions and alcohol-based hand sanitizers can damage inlay stones and weaken settings. Slippery cleaning agents can make it easier for rings to slip off and go down the drain. Soaps can dull the sparkle of gemstones.


Antler Inlay

Antler rings are very strong and naturally waterproof. However, it is not recommended to use it in the activities that can damage the ring, such as lifting heavy objects. Although these rings are waterproof, it is still recommended to take it off when there is contact with water. Avoid exposure to antibacterial soaps, cleaners, sprays, perfumes or harsh substances such as alcohol isopropyl, hair products, sunscreen as it may lead to staining or damage to the surface of the ring. If your ring had contact with the above-mentioned substances, simply rinse it with cold water, dry off before applying a little oil, and clean it very gently with a damp cloth.


Meteorite Inlay

Meteorite Inlay rings are strong, thus they should not break. However, it may get scratched like any other material. If you would like your meteorite ring to last you long, you should take good care of it, avoid dropping, and heating by heavy objects. It is not recommended wearing your ring while engaging in heavy activities including, but not limited to construction, yard work, repairs, etc.



Domestic Shipping Options

Note: When you are placing an order you can choose the expedited shipping option for domestic or international shipping.
There are three available shipping options via the USPS: First Class Mail, Priority Mail, or Express Mail. You can choose the most convenient shipping method for you. If you are limited with the time framework and need to receive your package urgently choose an expedited shipping method.

First Class Mail is the most common option. It takes 5-7 business days to get the package delivered. The USPS is not required to provide the tracking information via First Class Mail. The package can be tracked all the way to its destination only if it gets scanned. Not all packages get scanned when shipped, depending on how busy is the postal office. Usually, the tracking information will appear in the system only when the package gets delivered to its destination.

Priority Mail takes 1-3 business days to get the package delivered. This shipping method provides the tracking information and allows to track the package all the way to the destination.

Express Mail shipping method takes 1-2 business days and can get your package delivered overnight. The tracking information all the way to its destination is provided by this shipping method.



International Shipping Methods

First Class Mail takes 7 - 10 business days to get the package delivered. The USPS is not required to provide the tracking information via First Class Mail. The package can be tracked all the way to its destination only if it gets scanned. Not all packages get scanned when shipped, depending on how busy is the postal office. Usually, the tracking information will appear in the system only when the package gets delivered to its destination.

Shipping via FedEx

If you would like your package to be shipped via FedEx, please provide me with your phone number, because it is required by the FedEx Representatives, in order to reach you once your package arrives.

Customs & Import Duties

All international orders, outside of the US, can incur charges such as customs, duties, VAT upon their arrival to the destination. These fees are paid to the government or local carrier, and they are not collected by the seller. Every country has its local taxes & import duties, and its amount varies. It is not included in the price of the product and excluded from the refund. The payment of customs and import duties are the sole responsibility of the buyer. It is suggested to contact the country’s customs office to inquire regarding of the amount of fees


International Delays

Once the item is shipped, you will get the tracking information to track the location of the package. When the package leaves the US, it is outside of its jurisdiction. Thus, the USPS cannot track the location of the package. At that point, the local postal office in your city is one in the possession of the information regarding your package. It depends on the custom of your country for how long they will keep the package for the clearance. If this happens to you, contact your local post office to get the information regarding your package.
In the force major circumstances the loss of the package, or if you have not appeared on time to receive it, and your local post office sent it back, please contact the store for immediate assistance and further accommodations.
